Our Story
BorrowPit.com was built by people who have lived this problem firsthand. Jordan and Andrew first worked together in the early days of building Eiffel Trading, one of the construction industry’s leading B2B material marketplaces. After years of building complementary expertise across logistics technology, supply chain operations, and heavy civil construction, they came back together to solve a problem they had both observed throughout their careers. The dirt and aggregate market has no central place to buy, sell, or source material. BorrowPit.com is that place.
The Team
JORDAN CLARK CoFounder & CEO
Jordan brings over 15 years of experience across logistics, technology, and entrepreneurship. He started his career in freight and logistics, later owning and operating his own third-party logistics company for over four years before moving into technology. He has held VP and product leadership roles at companies across logistics tech, maritime tech, and large-scale oil and gas services, and also founded his own mobile application. Jordan first worked alongside Andrew in the early days of building Eiffel Trading, and the two reunited to bring the same marketplace thinking to the dirt and aggregate industry. At BorrowPit.com, Jordan leads day-to-day operations, product, strategy, sales, and marketing.
ANDREW NORMAN CoFounder
Andrew is the founder and President of Eiffel Trading, a B2B construction materials marketplace he has built and operated for over 10 years serving heavy civil, marine, and oilfield contractors nationwide. His deep experience in construction material transactions, supplier relationships, and industry networks forms the backbone of BorrowPit.com’s supply side and brokering capabilities. Andrew brings unmatched market knowledge and an industry network that gives BorrowPit.com a foundation most new platforms take years to build.
HANZALA (HANK) SHAFI Sales Director
Hank joined BorrowPit.com over a year ago and has been on the front lines of growing the platform’s network of suppliers and buyers across the country. He works directly with operators, contractors, and developers to bring new listings to the platform and identify brokering opportunities. Hank brings energy, focus, and a results-driven approach to a market that rewards the people willing to do the work of connecting supply to demand.
